Dental Hygienist - On Call- Mt. Dora/Orlando

Overview
We are hiring a part-time Dental Hygienist- On Call. This position will work at our affiliated dental practices in the Mt. Dora/Orlando locations. We are looking for a Dental Hygienist with experience but do encourage recently graduated Dental Hygienist to apply. We are looking for someone that is X-ray and CPR certified in the state of Florida. We prefer someone that has Local Anethesia certification in the state of Florida as well. Candidates will need to hold a current state license from an accredited dental hygiene school.

Responsibilities
Essential responsibilities include:
Through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, Dental Hygienists are committed to improving the oral health of patients. Candidates must be enthusiastic about their dental work, and willing to provide the highest level of care at all times
Under limited supervision, the Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work.
Patient screening, medical history and dental charting.
Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line.
Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease.
Other duties as required
Qualifications
Desired Skills:
Hands on experience as a Hygienist
Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene school. Current state license.
CPR Certification for the state in which you work is required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Bilingual is a plus
On Call (PRN)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
