Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely and accurate payments - Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies - Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions - Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts - Collaborate with internal departments to resolve any invoicing issues or discrepancies - Assist with the preparation of financial reports as needed - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting regulationsRequirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred - Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices - Proficient in using accounting software such as Paychex, ADP, Kronos, and QuickBooks - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping - Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Proficient in 10-key typing and general computer skills (Microsoft) - If you meet the above requirements and are interested in this position, please submit your resume along with a cover letter detailing your relevant experience.
