Responsibilities:
Management of North & South-Central work orders, including Two Man Units.
Skills:
Typing, Organization, moderate knowledge of computers and essential soft wear, communication, and basic project management.
Traits:
Responsible, Self-managed, Self-motivated, Self-Starter, forward-thinking, Strong Work Ethic, and personable.
(OCD is a plus).
Brief Daily work description:
Mornings typically start face-to-face with crew leads (foreman), turning in completed work orders and discussing the current workload.
This is to gauge when additional work is assigned.
Following this, you would begin updating the work orders in trackers, checking material charge outs, and progressing work orders from inprog to concomp status.
Turned-in packets would then be provided to the admin office.
Brief Mid-day to end of the day:
Typically, it would consist of various tasks but not limited to Making DFRs, answering emails, working on material balancing, printing job packets, organizing work, and coordinating with Pre-tripper, yard management, and General Foreman.
as well as joining any meeting assigned in the calendar and completing required learning segments.
Additional key points:
Cultivate relationships with Duke Energy Job Planners, Project Managers, Schedulers, etc.
Manage project assignments based on crew ability and workload.
This needs to be done in a working relationship with Debra Hodges and the General Foremen.
Maintain detailed updates on all assigned work.
These updates are emailed out weekly.
Manage all task INPRG and CONCOMP task progressions.
These must be progressed within 24 hours of the field progress.
Coordinate project details, including outage setup, permitting requirements, customer notification, SWRs, etc.
Provide updates and information on conference calls or as requested.
Serve as a central point of contact for all crew foremen and crewmembers.
Record and pull new work daily.
I have a specific spreadsheet for this, allowing me to see what I pulled and when.
There is no other way of knowing exactly WHEN a job or project was scheduled to us apart from keeping a daily log.
Print, organize, and package pull work.
Propose crew assignments based on the work nature.
Review specific projects and outline a work plan.
It is best to do this with the assistance of a General Foreman.
Create and file electronic DFRs in advance or as needed by Foremen.
Pull the work diary monthly for workload review.
Knowledge of Maximo is a HUGE Plus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
